 davemc90 Wed 17 Jul 2019 11:38:02 | Hi all I have just bought a manta 19, and have read a lot on the forums, I am based on the south coast, the manta 19 has had it's drop keel welded up and now relies on the welded up keel box and bilge keels (which appear to be hollow) for stability, this seems very odd to me. I was wondering if anyone had come across anything like this before or if anyone had any thoughts on it. Other than the fact that performance to windward is going to be impeded. | |
