peter booker - Fri 11 Aug 2006 13:27:19 does anyone out there have any spare sails they wish to sell? Failing that, can anyone advise the original sail sizes supplied ie luff, leech and foot measurements please.

Many thanks

Peter.

isobel - Wed 16 Aug 2006 11:26:26 Hi, Peter. I don't have accurate measurements, but I do have the original sail areas, if that's any help. The main and no. 1 genoa were supplied as standard, but you could also get a working jib, no.2 genoa and spinnaker as extras.
Main: 59 sq.ft (5.48 sq.m)
No. 1 genoa: 80 sq.ft (7.40 sq.m)
No. 2 genoa: 97 sq.ft (9.00 sq.m)
Working jib: 57.5 sq.ft (5.34 sq.m)
Spinnaker: 183.0 sq.ft (17 sq.m)

Many thanks for the details of all the original sails. I am still looking so if anyone out there has one or two to spare, please drop me a line.
I have recovered my boat from Whitehaven yesterday and she now sits in my drive in Cheshire awaiting a bit of tlc. First job is the window seals which I see others have tackled already.

Once again thanks for the info.

Peter.
